On Friday, March 22nd 2019, at approximately 2:00AM, three suspects entered a secured business without permission. The male suspect is wanted for questioning in a theft and all three for trespassing.

****BURGLARY****
February 06, 2019

On Tuesday, February 6th, 2019, the Brookings Police Department took a report of a burglary that occurred at several storage units located in the 1400 block of Western Avenue in Brookings. Suspect(s) gained entry to the storage units and a trailer by cutting the padlocks. The suspect(s) stole the top toolbox from a Snap-On 40th Anniversary Corvette toolbox. It is believed the storage units were entered sometime between January 20th, 2019 and January 26th, 2019. (Pictured is a similar toolbox, the top toolbox is the only one reported missing)

On Saturday, January 26th, 2019, the Brookings Police Department took a report of a stolen 2005 black Pontiac G6, SD license plate 6E3649. The vehicle was taken from the 1400 block of 4th Street and has not been located as of now.

**HIT AND RUN/STOLEN VEHICLE**ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY**
January 23, 2019

On Wednesday, January 23rd, 2019, at approximately 7:22PM officers responded to the intersection of Main Avenue South and 2nd Street South for a report of an injury accident. It was found one driver had fled prior to officers arriving. It was found one of the vehicles involved had been stolen from a business in the 200 block of Main Avenue South. Video was obtained of the suspect walking away from the area after the accident.

On Monday, November 5th, 2018, three individuals entered a business in the 2200 block of 6th Street and stole two TV's and a laundry basket of new merchandise. Other merchandise was removed from the store but left outside the store. The suspects left in a gray van.
